Obi is In Season...
We are in the heart of Obi season where obi is fresh out of ewe (Its covering).
This obi will carry high moisture due to its freshness. This is of great benefit, but also has its downside.
We will NEVER send questionable obi and if you know anything about Kola Nut, you know it is mysterious. A bag of obi can appear totally fine one day and 2 days later be unrecognizable.

Tips:
Humidity/Temp Control

When you receive your obi please open it immediately. Let it “Breathe” for a couple of hours.

If they feel wet to the touch, use paper towel to wipe them down. The obi may have gone from hot to cold to hot, to cold.
Mold
The more moisture, the more possibility of mold. Mold does NOT equal BAD.
Find any pieces that may have mold on them and separate. Wipe these pieces down and use first.Mold can find its way to your obit stash quickly. Remember this is a fresh product. We don’t chemically treat obi and as a result nature will nature.
Lastly, If you don't use your kolanut regularly, check on it weekly and follow the above tips!
